Before you ride

Frequently asked questions

Who can drive an ATV?

Guests ages 16 and 17 may drive with a valid driver's license. Adult drivers age 18 and older are not required to carry a driver's license. The route uses rural areas with little vehicle traffic, and final authorization always depends on the guide's safety assessment.

What is the minimum passenger age?

Passengers must be at least 5 years old. A parent or responsible adult should consider the child's comfort with outdoor terrain, noise, water and changing weather.

What should I wear and bring?

Closed shoes with good grip are required because the forest trail can be slippery. Wear clothes that may get wet or muddy and bring swimwear, a change of clothes, insect repellent, sun protection and any personal medication.

Are the suspension bridges scary?

They are generally easy to cross and are not presented as an extreme heights attraction. You can walk slowly, follow the guide and enjoy the forest views.

How long is the walk to the waterfall?

The forest walk inside Rainmaker Park is approximately 10–15 minutes to reach the waterfall area. If someone has a special limitation or prefers not to walk, contact us beforehand about the available waiting arrangements.

Are lockers and changing rooms available?

Yes. Lockers and changing areas are available, making it easier to bring swimwear and a dry change of clothes.

Where is pickup included?

Round-trip transportation is included from hotels and vacation rentals in Quepos and Manuel Antonio. If you are outside the covered area, contact us before booking.

What happens when it rains?

Tours normally operate in tropical weather. Routes, swimming and individual trail sections may change for safety. If the operator must cancel, we will contact you with the available options.
